Richard Ruth

Managing Director

Richard Ruth is the Managing Director of M5 Networks Australia. Richard reports to M5’s board of directors. Prior to becoming managing director in December 2011, Richard was the National Sales and Marketing Manager, and a key member of M5’s Executive Team.

 

Prior to Richard’s role with M5, Richard ran his own business coaching company that worked with a number of businesses around the country in many different industries.  Richard has been responsible for working with a number of key name-brand businesses to help them realize their full potential and achieve dominance in the market place.

 

In addition to Richard’s business, he has been heavily involved in the arena of selling, as a trainer, salesperson and sales manager.

 

Richard has a number of sales and sales training qualifications and also a Diploma of Marketing from Holmes College.

 

 

Steve Fitzgerald

Business Development Manager

 

Steve Fitzgerald is M5 Networks Australia’s Business Development Manager and Channel Partner Program Manager. Steve’s aims are to increase the M5’s client base and further develop M5’s Channel Partner Program. Steve is also a member of M5’s Executive Committee, responsible for all sales activity within the company.

 

Prior to M5, Steve established the UK operation for an Australian software development company, and after creating a solid base of customers and distribution channels in the country’s two top pub companies, Steve and his wife decided to return to Australia to raise their two young daughters. Steve’s other previous roles include Sales & Marketing Manager of a leading travel and events management company in Vanuatu, and other roles within the hospitality industry.

 

 

Glen Ganderton

Project Manager

 

Glen Ganderton is Project and Provisioning Manager at M5 Networks Australia. In this role, Glen liaises with M5’s customers on integrating M5’s hosted VoIP phone system with their business needs.

 

As customers’ needs change, Glen works closely with them to ensure that the system is always meeting their needs and keeping up with growth. Glen acts as the interface between customers and M5’s technical support team and also manages M5’s vendor partner relationships with Optus, Telstra, Internode and other key suppliers.

 

Prior to joining M5, Glen held the position of Senior Voice Engineer at a large ITSP where he was responsible for both maintenance and development of several hosted voice platforms. Previous to this Glen lead a team of software engineers implementing various custom voice applications to meet specific business requirements.

 

Glen currently has a Bachelor of Computer Science from Swinburne University and a number of technical certifications.

 

 

Graham Williamson

Senior Systems Engineer

 

Graham Williamson is the Senior Systems Engineer and heads up the Engineering and Technology department at M5 Networks Australia.  In Graham’s current role, he is responsible for maintaining all infrastructure associated with deploying the M5 developed voice solution, from the phone on the desk through to the backend billing systems.

 

Graham served as a Communications Electronic Technician in the Royal Australian Air Force. During his RAAF career, Graham gained experience in everything from airfield navigation aids, air traffic control systems to working in secure cyber networks. He spent time deployed overseas on operations several times, and was awarded a Chief of Air Force commendation.  He left the RAAF in March 2011 after 13 years service to join M5.
